Suggest Treatment For Spots In Pubic Area

Question: What are the visual identification factors for herpes. I have two small spots in my pubic region that are clustered together, at first I thought they were an ingrown hair or pimple but after research herpes I've kind of freaked myself out. I have t seemed medical attention as of yet.

Herpes simplex virus 1 or 2 can present with tiny grouped vesicles (water filled lesions) .It may be associated with pain,discomfort, burning sensation or itching.These usually rupture into tiny ulcers. Usually they heal by themselves.

They are known to recur in the same areas.

Please upload Pictures of the lesions so that I can guide you better.

You can go for HSV 1&2 IgM and IgG Antibodies test.

I've upload two photos in the reports. There hasn't really been any pain other than pants/underwear rubbing against it.

I have seen the 2 photos uploaded.
It does not appear like herpes lesions.It appears to be due to folliculitis .
You can avoid friction or irritation.
Wear loose cotton innerwears.
Do not trim the hair too short.
Clean the area with warm water twice daily.
You can apply topical antibiotic creams like Mupirocin.

I'm just curious what brought you to that conclusion of it being folliculitis by the pictures? Thanks, I really appreciate your input

The morphology of the lesion does not appear like herpes lesions. It is larger and has more redness .Moreover it does not appear like vesicle.It appears like an inflamed ( red) lesion around the hair follicles.
