Brief Answer:
It is hard to strain testicle. Inguinal hernia seems most probable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Testicle can not be strained. It is quite XXXXXXX and there is no tension on the spermatic cord.

But moving heavy objects can cause inguinal hernia. This condition can give similar to your symptoms. Such symptoms can be thought to be produced by a strained testicle. In case of hernia, the discomfort should be more intense when standing and coughing.

You may also have varices of spermatic cord which can give such symptoms as well. And weighting heavy objects can worsen them as well. Varices can be palpated as a kind of noodles in the scrotum.

It is not much you can do at home for both condition. Pain killers like Ibuprophen and testis elevation (especially when lying down), tight underwear can help.

It is necessary to consult a doctor. Testis ultrasound and groin ultrasound should be done. In case of hernia, surgery is necessary.
Spermatic cord varices can also be treated with surgical procedure (laparoscopic).

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
