Question: Fell on stairs bruised swollen & dented butt cheek 8 days ago. What do I do?

From the description it seems to be soft tissue injury. As it persists since 8 days, I suggest you to get an X ray to rule out any bony injury.
Give rest to the part. You can take ibuprofen for pain.

Some swelling has gone down. Nothing is broken. The muscle is just swollen and sore. Will it take a month or more to get back to a normal size butt? Light use of a heating pad should help?
