Brief Answer:
Please take your wife to the ER.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

If her blood pressure is over 180 (for the upper, systolic number), then she must go to the ER now. There they can lower it safely while monitoring her. At this level, she is at increased risk of further strokes. Please take her in now.

I would be happy to answer further questions once she has been evaluated at the ER, but she should not continue to stay at home with a systolic blood pressure over 180.
