Brief Answer:
concerning symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Your symptoms of shortness of breath and chest pain lasting a few minutes then resolving are concerning for heart blockages (coronary artery disease). This is not common in 45 year old females but is not impossible. If you have risk factors for heart disease including family members with heart disease, smoking, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or diabetes then you need to be evaluated for heart problems right away. If you have these risks then you should see your doctor as soon as possible or go to urgent care or emergency.
If you do not have risks then there are many things including infection, reflux anxiety and other that can cause chest pain, shortness of breath and sore throat.
It is best to see a doctor for an exam, lab tests, and EKG to sort this out.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
