Suggest Treatment For Severe Stress

Question: I want to get off .5 lorazepam which I take in the morning for that is when my stress is the most severe, but it makes me lethargic all day and I don't want to take it anymore. But splitting a .5 tablet seems ridiculous for it's just a sliver of a pill. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
few possiblities

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have few options:
1. First you can take some other benzodiazepine in lower dosage such as oxazepam, diazepam or clonazepam. Some of these have less lethargic effect.
2. Second you can take lorazepam every 2nd day. Or you can lower dosage more gradually by avoiding 1 pill per week.
3. At the end, it can even be split.

Wish you good health.

Regards
