Suggest Treatment For Severe Psoriasis

Question: Hi, I have an occasionally itchy, red area with a defined border that is in my groin area, along the folds near where my groin and thighs meet. It extends down two inches towards my scrotum. I also have some red spots on my penis - I often would dry masturbate and make myself bleed, these would soon scab over and heal, but red spots have remained. I'm pretty sure I developed this prior to any exposure to an STD due to unprotected sex, because my second partner ever asked me about it when she saw it in my groin area. I went to the Dr and he thought it was psoriasis. I have severe psoriasis on my scalp, behind my ears, in my ears, and a small bit on my face. Is this red area my psoriasis, or is it a fungal/yeast infection, or possibly an std? I have had this for several months, but was shy to get treated. No bumps, no pus. When I itch it, it smells like my psoriasis does when I pick at my scalp. Also I am currently awaiting STD blood results. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
A photo of the affected area is requested. .

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Before running into final conclusions, I want to have a look at the affected area. I'd appreciate you taking a photo and send to me.

From what you are describing, it seems that the itchy and red area is not due to stds. Psoriasis is a possibility while if I was your caring doctor would advise to run examination of skin scrapping to exclude fungal infection.

Looking forward to have the requested photo in.
