Question: At times i have a swollen ankle and it is reddish and itchy? One ankle for the most part.

If swelling increases, then its better to get xray of ankle joint done and send me the report.

Get your Fasting blood sugar and Complete blood count done and send me the reports.

Till then you just have antihistaminics and calamine lotion.

Elevate the limb while sitting and bed time.

Avoid extremes of climate.

It will be alright.
