Suggest Treatment For Severe Left-sided Stomach Pain And Multiple Gall Stones
Question: My relative suffered with severe Stomach pain in the left side. The abdomen scan stated that Gall Bladder with approximate 4-8 MM sized multiple gall stones. Do the patient need to have a surgery to remove the stones or can it be cured with medicines?

I have read your query and understand your concern.
Although there is medicine available which can dissolve the stones but it is generally not used because it is expensive,has to be given for very long and moreover gall stones get formed again,once you stop the medicines. So practically speaking it is not worthwhile to use the medicine.
The best treatment is to get the gall bladder removed by surgery.
Now a days it is done by laparoscopy which is a very simple operation without any problem to the patient. Stay of just a day or two in the hospital.
