Suggest Treatment For Severe Irritation In The Right Side Of The Back
Question: I have been feeling an irritation on the right side of my mid back for over a month. The irritation feels like a hand with a 100 fingers grabbing me, it itches and doesn't go away. Could this be a cancer?

The back is not a common site for cancer of the skin. Exposed areas such as the face, head and neck, hands, etc would be more likely to harbor cancers than the back. It is my understanding that this is probably a local skin condition.

Doc, the skin appears normal, the irritation feels deeper possibly in the muscle below the shoulder blade. I do not have access to doctor because of no ins. I only have medicare part A
