Brief Answer:
take lots of fibres in your diet

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HealthcareMagic. I am a Gastroenterologist.

Improper motion in a diabetic patient is common as diabetes itself effects gastrointestinal tract. Bacterial flora of the intestine get aletered leading to change in the bowel habits.
I will suggest you to take a course of probiotic I usually prefer probiotic containing saachromyces boulardii. Along with tablet rifaximin, it is a gut antibiotic that has minimal systemic absorption. Its dose is 400mg twice aday and take them for at least 2weeks. Take sufficient amount of fibres and fluids in your diet. I mean to say lots of fruits and vegetables. Other food items that have high fibre content are oats, whole wheat , ragi, barley, greens, beans, peas, lentils.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you . Wish you a good health

Hi doctor,
Sometimes i feel like i want to motion, but if i get there i do very small amount or sometimes only gas comes out. The tablet that you mentioned rifaximin is after food right?, it wont cause any side effects right? i am also taking insulin, thats why. What kind of fruits and vegetables can be specifically taken? (bcoz i am having diabetes)?

Brief Answer:
yes rifaximin has no or minimal side effects

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Yes rifaximin has no side effects and can ne taken after meals.

Fruits which you can take are guvava, apple, bowl of papaya, pears, peach strawberry. Fruits which you should avoid are banana grapes and XXXXXXX Vegetables are all good for you except potato.

The symptom of stool hesitancy will also improve after this treatment in my opinion.
Thanks and wish you a good health

Brief Answer:
keep your stool soft by taking lots of fibres and fluid

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

So the cause of bleeding is hemorrhoids.
Most important step in management of hemorrgoids is to keep stool by taking lots of fibres and water or may be laxative. Medicines available for this are tablet like calcium dobesilate, tab diosmin.

Have you taken these medicines or not
If not then take them and keep your stool soft
Thanks wish you a good health
