Question: Hi, I have had severe diarrea Saturday, Sunday and part of Monday. I felt very sick had not eaten until this morning. I have been drinking tea and lots of water. Did not take my temperature but knew it was high. My head still feels cloudy with a slight headache. I was trying to get dressed to go to the doctor but could not get out of bed to get dressed. I slept pretty much Sunday and Monday.

Thank you for the query.

You should not wait with it at home. Even if you have been drinking lots of liquids, from your description it sounds like you may be dehydrated. For sure your body is tired of infection which can be the main reason of your diarrhea.
Other possible reason is partial bowels obstruction due to some lump in the large intestine.
Please call 911 if you are unable to visit your doctor. Staying at home can be life threatening.
