Brief Answer:
Pain likely to be musculoskeletal pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Cramps under the left breast and back which are aggravated by turning suggest the possibility of musculoskeletal pain and associated muscle spasm.

It would be very helpful if you could provide me with the following additional information

1. Since how long have you been experiencing the cramp like pain ?

2. Any previous history of similar pain

3. Has the pain been present continuously since it occurred ?

Awaiting your response

off and on for a couple of years, No similar pain, I had a lower lumbar spinal fusion, but never the cramps, if i lift my arm to touch the back of my neck or shoulder it also gets a bad cramp, my legs, feet, all over my body, but the cramps in my side, back, and chest hurt so bad, my doctor also said Musculoskeletal, The thing that feels so bad and scares me, it all most feels like something (the cramp) is moving. Im sure it sounds like i'm a little off my rocker, I'm not, it feels like its grabing my ribs. Yes the pain is continuous

Brief Answer:
Possibility of Post Herpetic Neuralgia needs to be considered

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

Apart from musculoskeletal pain, one sided pain present for so long possibility of Pout Herpetic Neuralgia needs to be considered. Post Herpetic Neuralgia usually caused severe recurrent pain.
I would suggest you to discuss this possibility with your Physician.

In the meantime I would suggest you the following

1. Hot water fomentation

2 . Analgesic like Ibuprofen will be helpful

3. Skeletal muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxazone will be helpful

Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak

Is this something that people get?, Is it normal to get this ?,
are there reasons for this happening? I still don't understand,
when you say" Musculoskeletal" I don't understand, except that
it is something to do with the muscle on the bones, is that right?
If thats right, I still don't know How or what is happening I also
Don't know, what is causing it to happen, Would you please try to
explain HOW and WHY IT HAPPENS??? I can be laying on my side ,on my bed watching TV all of a sudden I get a pain on the back in between the shoulder
blade and the waist, Something that would help without taking medicine.
Sorry to take up your time. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Most likely to be musculoskeletal pain

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

Musculoskeletal pain is usually due to muscle sprain and associated with muscle spams which usually gets aggravated by change in posture. Going by description of such symptoms musculoskeletal pain is more likely the cause of symptoms.

Herpetic pain usually occurs on one side of body in distribution of one nerve and the pain is usually severe and long lasting. Going by despot your symptoms that it subsides spontaneously, this cause is less likely. Herpes usually occurs following viral infection in one side of body and usually a particular Dermatome of body is affected.

Apart from previous advise I would suggest you to use proper posture while sitting and also to use firm bed while sleeping that will prevent such future episode of pain.

Do follow the mentioned advise and things should be fine. If pain still persist do write to me.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
