Suggest Treatment For Severe Cramps And Pressure Near Cervix
Question: I am having severe cramps in my lower left side. I also feel pressure on or near my cervix. I have had an uterine ablation and tubal ligation about six years ago. Therefor I no longer have monthly bleeding. I have had 3 c sections and one miscarriage. This pain is so bad it radiates to my bottom.

Pain abdomen in the lower left quadrant which is severe seems to be intraperitoneal in nature. The following are the possibilities
1) Acute Gastrointestinal infection
2) Sexual transmitted disease
3) Renal calculi or urinary tract infection
You should see a doctor if the symptoms do not reduce in 24 hours for proper investigations like ultrasound scan and some blood tests. Till then check if there is an over the counter antispasmodic available with your pharmacist. Take them after taking fluid diet, three times a day. For pain do a hot fomentation and take light easy to digest oil free food.
