What Causes Fullness Of The Renal Pelvicalyceal System?

i had a large cystic lesion arising from the pelvis extending upto the epigastrium (size 16cm x 14cm x 9cm). It was operated on 04.06.2013 and as per diagnosis card L/S SALPHYNGO - OOPHORECTOMY + OMENTECTOMY. My age is 18 yrs. In the histopathology report the following remark was observed. There were forci of mature and immature cartilage, bone, immature mesenchyma and embryonal tissue . Thereafter I underwent four cycles of Chemo therapy ended in September 2013. I now sometimes get a pain in the left side abdomen and hip. I took a US Scan abnomen recently and in the report I noticed following remark. Both KIDNEYS are normal in size and echopattern. Right kidney measures - 10cm in BPL Left kidney measures - 10.12 in BPL No evidence of renal calculi in noted There is mild fullness of the left pelvicalyceal system & the ureter . Please advise me the cause of the mild fullness of the left renal pelvicalyceal system & the ureter. Thanks, Sumi

This sounds to be a urinary infection from various reasons. There are various reasons for the renal pelvicalyceal system fullness as calculus in the urinary system or tumor or others.

I recommend undertaking a CT scan of abdomen & pelvis and consult
with report.
