Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Headache

Question: I've had head pain since late yesterday. It is not a typical headache, nor is it like sinus pain. It's over the left side of my face and edge of my left eye. I feel it when I bend down to pick up something from the floor or bear down when using the bathroom. Other than those actions I don't feel it.
I had diaherrea once this morning so far.
I'm concerned because I expected it to be gone is morning after a night's sleep. Thank you for your thoughts.

Brief Answer:
Cough headaches.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

These types of headaches, or head pain caused by straining are known also as cough headaches.

These are two types:

1. primary ones that are not related to any underlying causes and should pass in few days

2. secondary ones related to brain or sinuses issues.

Secondary cough headaches last longer, repeat periodically and are accompanied by other neurological symptoms.

In my opinion you should wait a couple of days, if no improvement, then you should consult a Neurologist.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.
