But it keeps happening. is it possible to reduce the swelling? Any other suggestion to reduce the impact? How long will it take to completely recover?

Brief Answer:
Topical aloe vera preparations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing to us. I have seen the uploaded images.
Urticaria is an allergic reaction to either day to day food products or due to any topical allergy like animal dandres, plant pollen, herbal oils ect.
The common food products which may cause urticaria include- egg, sea food, meat, creamy food, cheese, peanut, brinjal , artificial food colors etc. How ever it is difficult to rule out which food might have caused the present episode, its trial and error basis you have to exclude each food. The swelling can be reduced to certain extent by applying topical alovera containing skin preparations. The ongoing treatment is fine enough as of now. How ever you have to review with your doctor if the child develops respiratory difficulty and persistence of rashes beyond 72 hrs, this will require change of treatment and oral steroids may be required.
Each episode may last upto 3 days or so and recurs in cycles. Hope I have cleared your query, thank you, regards.

Brief Answer:
Trial and error basis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for the follow up. Direct application of alovera plant flesh I am not sure about it , sorry.
As in the previous query I had given you a list of food products which may cause this condition. Its difficult to tell precisely as to which food causes urticaria, so its trial and error method you ll have to rule out the causative food product, thank you, regards.
