Brief Answer:
Surgery will give permanent cure for obstruction.

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
Thanks for query .

I have read your query & understand your concerns .

As per clinical history , you are having DNS with middle turbinate hypertrophy with chronic rhinosinusitis .

I would advice you , go for surgery as your ENT surgeon suggested . It will remove anatomical obstruction & prevent future complication .
It will also decrease frequency of frequent attact of cold .
It is right time for surgery .

Hope this information helpful to you .

Because of DNS to left , the middle turbinates gets pneumatized (concha bullosa) on opposite side . It cause decrease ventilation , leading to maxillary sinusitis (Infection & inflammation) with polyp formation .

Chances of polyps reoccurring depends upon patients compliance with regular treatment , allergy & surgeon experience .

To decrease Chances of polyps reoccurring , you need to use
Regular Saline nasal rinse or spray ,
