Question: I have been diagnosed with Psychogenic Blackouts and was given some ideas for treatment which include talk therapy, acuptuncture, healing touch, massage therapy and something called Feldenkrais Method. My medical insurance does not cover these treatments and I was wondering if there was a way to determine which would work best?? Do you have any information that may be helpful?

Brief Answer:
Talk therapy would be the best option

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

All these treatment options you have mentioned will help in relieving stress and psychogenic blackouts.
However, if one has to be chosen, the best treatment would be Talk therapy with a Psychologist. During Talk therapy you will be able to explore triggering factors, stress relieving techniques, behavioral modification to reduce occurrence and impact of attacks.
