Brief Answer:
Yes there are medicines as well as exercise

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

The Premature ejaculation can be treated or controlled with the help of behavioral methods and the drugs.

The behavioral techniques you need to practice during sex and does not expect the benefit from the first day. They generally take time. Your partner can also help you by participating in the behavioral intervention.

One among such behavior techniques is Kegel exercise. They are very effective in premature ejaculation when performed regularly. You need to identify the right muscle and make 30 contraction three times a day whenever the time permits. This can be done irrespective of presence of absence of sexual partner

You can google the technique as it is difficult to explain in detail here.

The other techniques are as following:
1. Squeeze technique
2. Start- stop method
3. Interruption technique

These can be practiced while having sex.

Premature ejaculation can also be controlled by drugs. SSRI antidepressant drugs cause delayed ejaculation as a side effect, and this side effect is used therapeutically in the treatment of premature ejaculation..these drugs are prescription medicines and are as following:
Tablet. Paroxetine [paxil 25 mg] at night or
Tablet. Fluoxetine [Prozac 20 mg] in the morning after the breakfast. or
Tablet. Sertraline [Zoloft 50 mg] at night.

You need to take any of these drugs regularly and its effect will appear only after 15 to 20 days. So be patient for that.

I hope you will find this advice helpful.

If you have any more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards

i also have stammering issue but not so bad . I consult to a physicalist and he suggested this

"..A lot of individuals with stammering respond to anti anxiety drugs like SSRIs in stemming. SSRI medicines especially Sertraline or Escitalopram have good efficacy in reducing the stress associated with stammering and this also help in reduction of frequency of stammering.."

if i use Sertraline i can control stammering and Premature ejaculation problem.

i have a few questions :

1- Should i still consult to a doctor for these 2 problems ?

2- Can i order Sertraline without prescription online ?

3-and what dose i should use

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Yes you need to consult

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

Your psychiatrist is right in saying this and sertraline can be used for both conditions although i personally favor fluoxetine or paroxetine.

Yes you need to consult your doctor as he can decide the appropriate dose and duration after considering all relevent factors.

Since these are prescription only drugs and I do not recommend buying online. They can cause even serios side effects and risking your life is not a good strategy in my view.

As I said above the dose can be decided after considering all relevent factors not limited to your age, weight, height, family history, genetic predisposition, response, side effect proneness, previous history.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
