Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sores On The Soft Palate

Question: About three years ago I had a sore throat, but it was my soft palate that had the sores. After being sent to an ear, nose and throat specialist,who gave me a steroid to put on the sores,he told me the sores were from Diabetes. The sores didn't go away with the steroids, but they did change into a different shape and changed to a different place. A few months ago I had all my Mercury fillings removed. I saw a decrease in spots and pain. It hasn,t gotten any better since then. I have Diabetes, take metformin, glyburide,and Lantus incillin daily.

Faulty restoration can be one of the reason of oral sore.But as you mentioned your problem is very old & hasn't completely resolved yet, hence follow these steps & if problem still persists go for biopsy:-

-You can suck sugar free strepsils

-spray vicks on affected part

- take a sip of lemon juice with teaspoon of honey

-take sugarless ribena black current drink with warm water

- Use XXXXXXX herbal drug

-do gargles with paracetamol or aspirin

If problem still persists get biopsy done & consult your physician.
