Brief Answer:
Requires further work up.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I have gone through the attached reports. As has been already noted, her Mantoux test results are positive. This can happen if tuberculosis is present. However, confirmation is required. The first step would be to get a chest X ray done (PA view). The next step would be to test her sputum for AFB on three consecutive days. You should take her to the health centres (DOTS centres or chest clinics) under XXXXXXX Municipal Corporation, for the above to be done. Based on the findings they will administer proper treatment.

Do not ignore it.

Her glycosylated haemoglobin level is high. So she requires to be evaluated further with fasting and post prandial blood sugar (done on the same day) before medicines are started.

Our doctor has advised that it is not reaulting in exactly TB. There was chest x ray done as well earlier, but i can't upload it because of size and not bale to scan. He advised 10 days of medication. Please advise

Brief Answer:
RNTCP is the national tuberculosis control program. Get registered.

Detailed Answer:
Tuberculosis has a minimum treatment duration of 6 months. I would strongly insist you to visit a municipal health centre rather than getting it treated by a private doctor. Under government program you will also get the medicines for free.
