Suggest Treatment For Persistent Fever In A Child

Question: What may be the reason for frequent fever? My Son is getting fever sometimes 2 times in a month.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I have checked the attached reports and they indicate a viral cause. These viruses are everywhere and when our immunity drops we catch a cold. The fevers are due to poor immunity which predispose him to viral infections.

Give him plenty of colourful fruits and vegetables regularly in diet. They contain antioxidants and would help in boosting his immunity. Give him small frequent and wholesome meals. Make sure that he has at least one hour of playtime daily. I am sure that the condition would eventually improve.

1)These days we are hearing that childs are getting sick frequently due to blood cancer. What tests you suggests for my child to eliminate this reason.
Because my brother in law was having Blood Cancer problem.
If possible,Can you please check and confirm the same from attached reports?

I understand your apprehension but would like to assure you that blood cancers are not common. If such a thing occurs, it would not occur without the child becoming really sick. Imagine a parasite sucking away your funds. If such a thing occurs, surely you would observe a deviation from normal and would know that something is not right. Similar is the case here. A cancer means rapidly dividing cells which use up significant amount of body's resources. So if ever such a thing happens, there would be ominious signs like sudden detorioration, significant weight loss, etc. I assume that is not the case here. The blood reports are fine and not something to worry about.

In summary, you need not worry about blood cancer at all.

Last important query that i forget to mention is:-
1) His Nose bleeds approx. 4 times in a month ( mostly at the evening/night time).
What may be the possible reason and what to do to resolve this problem.

There can be two broad reasons for nose bleeds. If it is just a small amount of bleeding, it is probably due to dryness of nasal mucosa which is often associated with episodes of cough and cold. Nosepicking often aggravates the problem. The solution is steam inhalation and to take some antiallergic like cetirizine for a few days.
The next possible reason involves larger amounts of bleeding and is caused due to ENT problems like nasal polyps or deviated nasal septum. if that is the case, you would need to visit an ENT doctor and get the child clinically evaluated.
