Brief Answer:
This could be upper respiratory infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to healthcare magic. I have gone through your question.

With the symptoms you have described, its suggestive of upper respiratory tract infection. The medications you have used are for symptomatic relief and you feel better till their effect ends.
This could be bacterial infections and you might require an antibiotic.
Nothing to worry.

I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics preferably tablet amoxicillin with clavulanic acid 625 mg two times a day after food for 5 days.
2) Yes, if you have any fever, throat pain or headache you can take tab zerodol - p one tab after food.
3) Antihistaminic with montelukast..levocetrizine with montelukast one tab at night after food for 7 days.
4) If cough still persists you can take expectorant syrup.

These medications require prescription. Please see a doctor for examination and prescription of medications.

Hope I have answered your question. Nothing to worry, you will be fine.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Take care.
