Question: My wife has had cancer of the mouth. At present she has been tol;d she is free of any cancer in her mouth. After her last forth operation on her mouth a skin tag was left that has been causing her a lot of discomfort
it is to be operated on July 8 th.
She constantly says she does not feel well. She does and never has drunk a lot of water and we have our family been prodding her to drink more water. When she does it seems to block, her urinating but eventually she does. Our family Doctor thought she might have Addisons disease as she if very listless
but blood test did not confirm his diagnoses. I would like to take her to a Hospital emergency room but she balks at that. Could you give me some idea what is wrong with her. I feel it might be her kidneys are failing.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. She requires detail physical examination and investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I appreciate your concern towards your wife. I have gone through the details.
She has been recently operated for a cancer of mouth which was i think mot likely localized and not an advanced one as further radiation therapy has not been advised and practically he is free of cancer. So the problem is that she feels very lethargic, thirsty but does not drink.
I will advise you to get her diabetic, thyroid and liver and kidney function status checked. Abnormalities of the thyroid gland, diabetes and liver dysfunction can sometimes lead to such kind of abnormalities. A urine examination is also advised for a subtle infection which can also lead to such symptoms.
Moreover, plan some kind of mild physiotherapy, or YOGA for her as it helps in a broad way to rehabilitate cancer patients after the surgery.
Thanks and regards. Feel free to ask further.
