Question: I currently suffer from nureopathy from late stages of diabetes and suffer from a lot of pain. I also contrracted parkinsons disease and over the last year have gone from 200 lbs. to 135. I have found that marijuana helps both conditions, but am worried about the legal aspects of using it. Is there any w ay I can get marinol prescribed on line?

Brief Answer:
marinol is prescribed only by pain clinics

Detailed Answer:
Hello I have gone through your question and understand your concern.

It is true that marijuana is reported to have some benefitial aspects on pain syndromes, while it is less clear on treatment of Parkinson symptoms, because the results of the last trials are confusing.

Getting marinol for pain is given only by pain clinics, and there is no way to get a prescription on line. But before getting to marinol I recommend starting with drugs which have more serious studies on pain treatment, like amitriptiline and gabapentine. Talk to your pcp for prescribing these drugs and eventually consult a pain clinic.

Hope this answers your question, please feel free for further questions.

Wishing you good health
