Brief Answer:
Seems Collitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in

The symptoms point to a probability of collitis

There are chances you have had some contaminated meals or drinks, avoid junk, fermented and fried food

Take a good probiotic twice a day for seven days
If there is no response in two days, get a stool test done and take antibiotic as per the culture sensitivity report or get back to me with the reports

Hope this helps

Hello,

Thank you for the response. My biggest fear is that I have or had appendicitis. It's great to hear that you did not mention this as a possible problem. I have been clean eating for over 2 months, however all last week I did not follow the diet. Friday I was also around a person with stomach flu. Are there any signs I should be on the look out for which may indicate a worse problem or need to get go my doctor or emergency room? Thank you.

What would you recommend as a probiotic?

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not pointing to appendicitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your followup

We usually arrive at a diagnosis :

1] Through history
2] Supplemented by clinical examination
3] Confirmed by investigations

On an online forum clinical examination is not possible and your history was classic of collitis, so I did not mention appendicitis, as a protocol appendicitis and utertric colic are common as differential diagnosis of right illiac fossa pain

Just look for fever and frequency, nausea and vomiting

Actigut / Magnipro / VSL#3 any of these are good probiotics

Hope this clears your doubts
Regards

Thank you. I just bought some probiotic supplements but couldn't find the ones you recommended. My temp is 98.1. I also wanted to ask you if it is normal, with this condition, that my bowel movements are less frequent and are very small amounts? I am usually very regular, so I'm just curious if this is part of the Colitis?

Thank you for being so helpful I very much appreciate it.
