Brief Answer:
No connection between 5HTP and buttock pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I can understand your concerns.

I do not think there is any connection between 5HTP and pain in buttocks.
There are some subjective reports from patients about muscle soreness with 5HTP.
But that is usually generalized and not specific to a body part.

The buttock pain may be due to trauma or fall or muscle spasm or pain in hip joints due to arthritis. It needs to be examined physically by your doctor to determine the cause.

You can take ibuprofen for pain relief.

Kindly consult your doctor for examination.

Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.

Take care.
Regards.
