needs workup.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM
I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query. I have read and understood your health concerns.
Have you suffered from it before? Do you have diabetes or hypertension? What about your physical activity? Any redness in joints?
Based upon the history provided there is need for clinical examination. If there is no warmth and redness of your joints then you should not be worried much. It may appear osteoarthritis but needs to be investigated.
If I am your attending physician I will get your Full blood count , ESR , RA factor. There is need to get the x ray of your affected joints as well.
Stay calm and avoid vigorous activity. Use acetaminophen to relieve pain.
See your orthopedic surgeon.
Hope it helps
If you have any query feel free to ask.

Brief Answer:
need to visit rheumatologist

Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM
I appreciate your follow up.
Based upon the history provided in my opinion you should not delay your visit to physician. Consultation with the rheumatologist is needed for proper management.
If I am your attending physician , after getting the investigations which I mentioned in previous answer , I will plan the ultrasound of your knee joint and remove any fluid from it for analysis.
Treatment would be according to pathology identified.
It mainly involves decrease mobility , and painkillers. There is need to add another pain killer along with acetaminophen like tramdoll etc.
Most probable diagnosis is rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and seronegative arthropathies.
All involves painkillers and movement restrictions. Steroids and other agents are also used but first exact diagnosis should be made.
Hope it helps

Dr Saad Sultan
