Brief Answer:
Seems to be an underlying infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

From the mentioned history, there seems to be an underlying infection underneath the scab.

The scab, being there, may be blocking the drainage of the infected material below it.

I hope you are not diabetic.
Have you suffered a recent trauma to the affected part ?

I would suggest to start on broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory fibrinolytic tablets like trypsin, rutoside and serratiopeptidase.

Do not apply anything warm to the swollen affected area around the scab.
Ice packs will help.

If the symptoms do not show any signs of improvement within 2 days, then you should consult a doctor and get a MRI of knee and color doppler of the leg to rule out underlying varicose veins / deep vein thrombosis.

Get a complete blood count with blood sugar and uric acid levels checked.

I hope the answer was useful.

Do let me know if you have any doubts about this answer. Will be happy to help you.

Thank you.
Kind regards.

Try taking the medicines that i have suggested earlier for 2 days and give me a feedback.
