default
Posted on Mon, 15 Sep 2014
Question: Was just diagnosed with nonalcoholic cirrhosis, have a 4.2 cm lesion on the neck of my pancreas that was found on CT scan last week and that I knew nothing about, and a spleen that is almost double in size. Can't get in with Dr. Ankoma-Sey until 9/24/14 even with my doctor calling to make appt. Can I afford to wait or should I try to get in with another doctor who can see me sooner? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
get another doctor who can see you sooner

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The lesion on the neck of pancreas of about 4.2 cms, and the size of spleen double the normal makes your current health status much serious. The non-alcoholic cirrhosis is not that serious though.

I would suggest that you not wait for your appointment with Dr. Ankoma Sey nect month, but make an appointment with another doctor that can see you sooner.

The sooner it is, the better for you. It is not advisable to wait for a month or so.

Hope it is clear to you.

Regards,
