Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Headache And Dizziness After Smoking Marijuana

default
Posted on Sat, 30 Jul 2016
Question: I've been dealing with PCS for about 11 months now, and I can say that I continued to smoke poppers (tobacco and then marijuana in a popper shaft- with a bong) after almost emmediatly after I hit my head. I smoke throughout the day and i am just realizing now that maybe this is a big contributer to why I still might get bad headaches, nausea and dizziness? I Realize I should have been asking this questions 11 months ago but I really didn't consider it until now and boy do I feel stupid!! I read that tobacco slows down your blood flow and I am assuming that does not help with my symptoms!

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

It is indeed true that tobacco in particular but also marijuana can contribute heavily to headaches. Tobacco constricts the blood vessels in your brain, impairing blood flow, which can cause pain in the meninges. I would definitely cut down on smoking to avoid more headaches.
