Question: Hello. I have told Dr's for 30 years I believe I have some sort of 'disease of the muscles'. I have long dealt with muscles pains and spasms, escalated by body inflammation (often diet-related). Recently things escalated terribly, I believe, from starting AZOPT 4 months ago for glaucoma. My body had slowly started cramping at night, requiring me to flex and stretch the whole spine. Suddenly, overnight, this went went severe, frightening entire body cramping at night. Getting up, taking doses of Ca, Mg, and electrolytes seemed to help.... but all kept worsening until I stopped Azopt. Now, a week later, and returning to the old diet also including more fats than I probably should eat, I feel those old night body spasms starting up again. (I have long 'felt' ADP, ATP and MITOCHONDRIA are somehow key nouns. WHAT IS GOING ON? HELP PLEASE!!!! if you can. Thank you. (I still await lab results, but a year ago intracellular results showed me somewhat low in 2 things: Ca and Mg ... though I'd been taking both in pill form for some time.
