Multiple disc prolapse and herniated discs are serious problems in the spine which can cause serious impairment of daily living.

Avoid bending forwards or lifting heavy weights. Keep a thin pillow over your lower back area. Apply hot water bag to the area of pain and muscle spasm. Take pain killer and muscle relaxant combination like Tablet Etodolac with Thicolchicoside twice a day for 5 days. Also you can take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg with Methylcobalamine tablet to help with the abnormal skin sensations.

Eat healthy. Keep yourself well hydrated.

Kindly perform the above mentioned tips tool you can meet your Doctor as you may find relief with Epidural steroid injection of the drugs don't work.

This needs to be addressed by a trained Spine surgeon for a proper management.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

I am sorry to hear that.

This requires a multidisciplinary approach by an Orthopaedician, Physiotherapist, Neurologist, Anaesthetist.

I advise you to consult an Orthopaedician and discuss the benefits of Epidural steroid injection which will offer you good relief for few months and may need to be repeated XXXXXXX This is an injection given at the back in the spine region.

I hope I have answered your query.
