I have Hx of asthma, migraines, and hip replacement. also had breast augumentation 20 yr ago... I'm alittle worried.. Thanks for your imput. My Dr has recommended I see a digestive health person.

Brief Answer:
Mildly elevated AST and ALT are not concerning signs...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

AST and ALT liver enzyme values are not concerning unless they are 2-3 fold higher than reference value. Therefore mildly elevated AST and ALT would not concern me if you are not symptomatic. Moreover normal ultrasound and negative hepatits infection markers are really positive signs to be noted. In all, I wouldn't not consider exploring further to know the cause here. You may visit a gastroenterologist as instructed and discuss if he / she shares my views.

I am not sure if you typed the second part of the query right here. Do you mean ferritin is low along with total iron binding capacity?

Hope this helps.

Regards
