Thanks for the query

Magnesium correction is not given in patients who do not have any symptoms. Magnesium when taken intravenously is the best way to correct it, it is given as magnesium sulfafe.

Orally mag-ox can be given, I usually give up to 6 tablets a day. Concomitant calcium and potassium deficiency should be corrected as well

Transdermally or subcutaneous formulation is not given
