The problem in his neck/shoulder and back has been off and on but and leg pain is relatively new. He is a smoker and not sure of sugar or thyroid. He does not sit in front of tv or laptop. As a matter of fact he works 60 hrs a week on his feet for 80% minutes f it. High stress too

Brief Answer:
He may have nerve compression in spine

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think your husband is having spondylitis of back and neck. This is causing back and neck pain. Also pain in leg is due to nerve compression in spine. I have following suggestions for you.
1.Get MRI of the spine to confirm the diagnosis.
2.If there is nerve compression in spine he should avoid jerky activities and weight lifting.
3.Hot water fomentation and volitran gel local application can be helpful.
4.Most important is back muscle strengthing exercises so that his back pain will improved forever.
5.He can wear belt for back.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if you have any other follow up questions.
Thanks
