An abnormal doppler is not an uncommon finding in early pregnancy and does not carry have a high significance.
An abnormal doppler has more meaning beyond 28-32 weeks.

As of now, there is only notching in the report which is again not a very signiifcant finding. By this I mean that most women with notching have a good pregnancy outcome. If there is a decreased flow then it is significant. Abnormal doppler findings mean that the blood flow to the baby is falling. However a notch does not mean low blood flow. It means that the artery carrying the blood is having less flow during certain part of the heart cycle and the flow is normal during the rest of the part. So it is enough to provide nutrients to the baby.

About the supplements. They are routinely prescribed to boost baby growth. They are beneficial in helping the baby to grow but they do not change the doppler findings nor do they stop or prevent the doppler from getting worse. So the supplements are only meant to help the babies growth and do not cause a change in the doppler at all. If the baby is growing fine then there is no reason to worry at all. Most likely the doppler may remain the same and there will be no further issues. This has already happened in the previous scans so no issues now.

As of now, drink plenty of water 3-4 litres a day, eat 2-3 fruits a day and take the supplements as well as a proper diet. Rest for 2 hours in the noon and take a proper sleep at night. Continue follow up with doppler and if the result is same there is no need to worry.

The doppler now is not showing a significant abnormality. It is impossible to predict the future at this stage as we do not know how it will behave further.

The september scan shows a high resistance flow which is a finding that is again non specific. It may or may not cause growth restriction in the baby. So as of now, just do not worry as stress is extremely harmful for the baby. The doppler is steady and we just need to wait and watch. Take the drugs, rest and eat well. Read good literature, take relaxing walks and do meditation to help calm the mind. These all will help. Even if there is a worsening in the doppler still it does not mean that the doctors will stop helping you. We do give fluids and drugs to help further growth of baby and then plan accordingly. So many pregnancies have abnormal dopplers and have good babies while as of now, you do not even have a significant abnormality.

Travel is not advocated much during pregnancy. Travel by train is safer from 16-26 weeks the earlier the better as it increases the chances of preterm labor pains. So if it is possible, travel as early as possible. Also ensure that you do not exert yourself in the wedding and take adequate rest. It is better to see your obstetrician before travel as she knows your case and has examined you and can guide you better for this.
