Brief Answer:
Nothing actively to be done.Speech therapy. It will improve spontaneously.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through all your medical reports and the impression is very clear that you are a case of young ischemic stroke.
You should have got investigated,as advised by Dr. XXXXXXX Nayak, for the stroke you had,in order to take preventive steps for any future stroke recurrence.

A young stroke should always be evaluated for the cause of stroke.
You should have undergone the following investigations:
1)2-D Echocardiography
2)Magnetic resonance angiography(MRA) of intracranial and neck vessels
3)ANA
4)Thrombophilia profile-APLA,Protein C,Protein S,Factor v,Serum homocysteine
5)Lipid profile

Please get them if possible.
Meanwhile medications suggested by him are appropriate for this situation and you should continue these medications:Piracetam , Ecosprin, Atorvastatin,Homochek(in the doses as advised).

Simultaneously, please continue physiotherapy.Start doing speech therapy which will help to improve your speech.
Your memory will improve with time only and nothing actively can be done for that.It is not sure that it will recover to 100% and some residual deficits may persist.

DON'T DISCONTINUE TREATMENT BY YOURSELF EVER.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow-up queries,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.Your rating will be of help to me.

Brief Answer:
Please revert back with the investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

Of course! You should get the investigations done and revert back with the results.
The medicines prescribed by the 2nd doctor is more or less ok,except that it contains a lot of supplements(N-liv,N-cod, N-Cobal Plus)which are not needed in your case.On the contrary,it is missing in some important medicines like Homochek and piracetam. So,the first prescription appears to be more appropriate.

Speech therapist will help in speech therapy, not the physiotherapist.

It can't be precisely told that in how much time will you have complete recovery.Since you are of young age, so better chances of recovery. However,it may take from months upto a year.It is not definite whether 100% recovery will be there or not.

Heart disturbances are common causes of young stroke. It will be ruled out by 2-D Echocardiography and Electrocardiogram(ECG)-ECG is not included in the above list. Please get it done too.Unless we see these investigations,we can't really say about heart abnormalities.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have some follow-up queries,I shall be glad to answer else, please close the thread-rate it and write a review.Your rating will be of help to me.
