Brief Answer:
depends upon size and position of stone

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

Stones in the liver are caused by the following in decreasing order of frequency
-increase in blood cholesterol levels
-any blood disorders leading to more breakdown of rbc
-infection in the liver
-infection in gall bladder
-any obstruction
-worm infestation
-sudden weight loss etc.

These are few common causes.

The treatment depends upon following features which I would like to know from you
-size of the stone
-single or multiple stones
-exact position of stones like in liver (which lobe) or gall bladder or billiary tree etc.

The treatment is removal . But depending on above answers different methods are available for each.

If you have your ultrasound or ct report please send it. Your bilirubin and ast are normal. Only ALP is high could be due to presence of stones or infection.

Waiting for your reply.

Brief Answer:
consult gastrosurgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Please send me your report so that I can advice you for further management. Without knowing the details which I asked you I am unable to give my opinion.

You may consult a gastrosurgeon and get further treatment for the stones which would be stone removal. Once stone is removed ALP reduces itself.

Waiting for your reply.
