Question: Hello! I'm a 42 year old woman. I am noticing more difficulty in focus and motivation. As well as sleeping long periods exceeding 10 hours. But not feeling depression or sadness. I had complete hysterectomy almost 2 years ago am not on any hormone supplements

Adderall or some other type of low-dose stimulant is a good idea, but it only works for these symptoms when COMBINED with an SSRI medication such as those I mentioned above. So the first priority would be to start an SSRI, re-evaluate in 4-6 weeks, and if you are noting some improvement, add a stimulant such as Adderall.
