Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bruise On Buttocks

Question: I got out if the shower this morning and discovered a long red raised line that itches along my left butt cheek
The other side has one also but does not itch
I did just start keflex 500mg 4 X a day on Tuesday

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. This is not classical of an allergy to Keflex seem its very localized nature and atypical location. I will like to see a picture of this area for inspection and more insights. If this rash should spread to any other parts of the body, I will recommend that you stop the medications for review before carrying on with. For now, I don't think discontinuing the medication is worth it.

This raised and itchy line may represent an allergic reaction but not a drug raction. I will recommend you tae Benadryl or zyrtec at this time. Please, send the image as well for more insights and recommendations.
