Question: Hi i am suffering frm irregular periods and my local dr suggest to take deviry10mg and metformin500mg i am 31 yr old with 3ceasarians last ceasarian in 2011dec my weight is 115 at present but before my 1st ceasarian it was 64 after that i start gaining till now continuously i am worried nd very tensed plz suggest me wat to do reply plz

I think you need to see a gynaecologist for more tests . Polycystic ovaries and thyroid dysfunction needs to be ruled out first . Tests need to be done to confirm it . Treatments for either is with hormone medicine . You will need regular cyclical therapy . Both cause weight gain . You need hormone tests and an ultrasound .
