Question: I keep getting sores internally in my nose. Sometimes when I rub it I get puss drainage ( I think). I'm on CPAP - not sure if that's the cause. I clean the mask & tube every night. I've chew snuff for many years & not sure if it's the cause. Thx

Brief Answer:
It can be due to the cpap

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Many people on cpap develop the same symptoms which you are experiencing and mostly this is due to faulty positioning of the mask or infected tubing.

You can try applying an ointment called mupirocin in the nostril on alternate days before starting the device.

Other thing would be to change the mask and tubing and see if the symptoms appear again.

Take care
