Question: Hello, ive been having improper bowel movement and eating habits for quite a while now,( over a year) which has made my lower abdomin bloated(full of shit) but even worse, today i passed gas and noticed a gooey mucus like jelly discharge tht had no strong odor, and was a brownish yellow color. Is this serious or temporary??? I figure i can fixthe problem myself by eating more fruits n veggies, accompanied by visiting the restroom daily, but in the back of my mind i feel it could be serious so i am in need of some info from a trained professional, thank u very much for ur time

Brief Answer:
Donot Neglect

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

This can be managed by adopting good eating behavior like consuming more of green leafy vegetables, fiber rich food, banana, papaya and drinking lot of fluids. This will improve your intestinal motility and add good consistency to your stool.

You can take Syp Duphalac, 5ml, twice daily for atleast 15 days which may regularize your bowel habits and improve your condition.

Even after this, if your symptoms are persisting you may require some lab tests like stool examination, per rectal examination and barium enema. Which can be performed by an gastroenerologist.

Thank you.

Hi..I have been diagnosed with colitis cystica profunda recently...after that my GI doctor told me no surgery is needed as of now...and gave me some medications which include fibre powder ...and sucralfet and one other enema....while my doctor was taking the decision based on my MRI report...he asked me to take Duphalac(lactulose)...which he replaced later with fibre powder named GUSH....NOW MY PROBLEM is..... even after taking the fibre powder I have to pass motion 4-5 times in the morning...as my doctor told me not to strain that is the only way...i feel ok after passing motion...though after passing motion I feel little bit dizzy every time ...which goes away...after 1 or 2hr..sometime end of anus get torn and I feel burning feeling inside..though blood does not come out instantly....but after someday lot of dense blood will come out....now I am not able to understand whether the blood is due to torn anus or coming out from some where inside....also why I am feeling dizzy after passing motion...could this be the effect of fibre powder because that was not there when I was taking lactulose...Please suggest me something because I am going nuts about this...also can this decease lead to colon cancer?
