Brief Answer:
No need to start systolex.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern regarding blood pressure.

120 to 138 systolic blood pressure with 80 to 88 diastolic blood pressure is not considered as high clinically and definitely not the indications to start any anti-hypertensive medications even any natural blood pressure controlling pill like systolex.

Also, your doctor has found nothing abnormal in stress test,2D echo cardiogram and ultrasound reports.

Blood cholesterol 209 is slightly on higher side but it can be very well controlled by proper diet and exercises with smoking cessation.

Even though systolex has very much effective natural blood pressure management pill with having almost no known side effects,I would not recommend to take it since you do not have any blood pressure issue.

However, you may check your blood pressure once in a week and check your (resting) EKG every 6 monthly.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra.
