Posted on Sat, 27 Jun 2015
Question: I am having a hard time keeping food down. Also I have a lot of gas, blotted and hard stomach, diarrhea at least 3 times a day. It seems that everything I eat gives me one symptom or all of them in the same day. Day after day for the past three months. I have diarrhea after every meal. It even has now got to the point where I am vomiting once or twice a week after eating.
What do you like is wrong??????

Brief Answer:
it will need evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

As the symptoms are chronic, it is better that we evaluate now. It may be chronic gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption or even malignancy.

The canker sores may be due to low vitamins. Some supplements should help. Also OTC mouth gels.

At the least I recommend upper gi endoscopy, stool testing including that for malabsorption, ultrasound abdomen and blood work. Please consult a gastroenterologist for proceeding further. If we can clinch the diagnosis, treatment is available.

Hope this helps. I will be available for further follow up.
Regards
