Brief Answer:
Anxiety can cause similar presentation

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for the query

I can understand your concern. Anxiety results in autonomic system stimulation which results in increased urination. But before labeling anxiety as cause, other possible causes should be ruled out. Urinary infection is a common cause of increased urination. Get your urine analysis done to rule out this. Diabetes too results in increased urine passage. This should be ruled out. Diabetes insipidus also results in increased urine. ADH levels should be measured to rule out.

If nothing found then we can make anxiety as cause of your problem. You are taking Escitalopram which is a SSRI drug. Another SSRI Paroxetine can be used instead of Escitalopram. Paroxetine will result in reduced urine passage and will help directly. This has great efficacy in controlling anxiety which will also help in your symptoms. You can discuss with your doctor for that. Please don't remain distressed, reduction of anxiety will solve your problem.

Thanks Take care
