Question: Hi My husband has frequent cough and cold with congestion in his chest because of which he feels some sensitivity. He has a nasal skeptal deviation past couple of years as well.

Hi,

It is important to identify cause of recurring and chronic cough and cold. This will allow us format a plan of treatment. Here in your husband's case, the cause could very well be deviated nasal septum, allergies or sinusitis. He should consult an ENT surgeon for detailed examination and evaluation to identify it.

Until then he can be treated symptomatically with antihistamine drugs, decongestant nasal drops as well as steam inhalation.
