Brief Answer:
Needs to be clinically evaluated

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

A fever with rash is typically due to a viral cause. While some of the viral causes are contagious, others are not. A clinical examination is needed for identification of the probable cause and you need to visit a doctor for the same. He will also be able to write you the requisite note.

Viral infections are self limiting and management is supportive. You need to give paracetamol to bring down temperature. Apply calamine lotion topically. It should resolve in a week or less.

Feel free to ask me back in case you have a specific health query.
